The max message control variables controls
the maximum amount of messages that can be fetched during one fetching
session.
This feature is provided to permit the
avoidance of downloading large quanities of msgs in an unplanned manner.
This could happen if you haven't had the
DDingo running for several days and are monitoring a board that has a high
volume of messages. This may not be a problem for users with high lines,
but the DDingo aims to please All it 's masters.
1) Max messages to fetch: This is the maximum
number of message that the DDingo will fetch in any one given fetch session.
2) Max message to fetch enabled: Checked
= feature is turned on. unchecked the feature Is turned off(ddingo will
fetch all available new messages).
3) Max message overided: Checking this
will permit one fetching session to fetch all of the available new messages.
This is handy if you have turned on the max message fetch feature and then
wish to fetch a large amount of message for a new ticker that was just
added to be researched.
